We had to cancel our cruise, as we tested positive for Covid the day before departure. we have a claim with Generali pending, which i hope will not be an issue. We purchased this specific policy due to their Covid coverage.

Such an easy process to make a claim for my busted luggage. The paperwork was all online and easy to follow. Once I sent in the appropriate documentation, it only took a couple of weeks to receive my payment. Highly recommended.
I've phoned several times to discuss whether or not a claim needs to be filed but no one has ever answered. After leaving information for a call back the call backs eventually come several days later, at random times when I am not available and the caller simply leaves a message requesting that I call back if I need to and the process repeats itself all over again.

Due to an increased volume of claims, we are currently experiencing a delay in the processing of the claims but I can assure you we are working diligently to process all claims promptly.

Still in progress. I am just starting my claim process. My ability to reach them during my trip to get clarification on my coverage was somewhat lacking.

We upgraded our cabin, thus increasing the cost of the cruise. It was not as easy as it should have been to contact the appropriate group at Generali.
