    Excellent

    Generali Global Assistance policy: Standard

    Hi. We filed a claim and was denied and was advised to contact our state. Our reason for cancellation was no fault on our behalf. There was a shut sound at the Embassy of Ghana in DC, due to a scandal which led to a delay in the return of our passport with the required visa. That was a grey line and we should have received a refund.

We take customer service and the claims review process very seriously and cannot stress enough that it is important to review the coverage details of our plans via the Plan Document that’s provided at the time of purchase and contact us with any additional questions you may have. We also offer a free look back period with all of our plans to allow customers to cancel their policies within a designated period as long as they haven't already left on their trip or filed a claim. The plan is unfortunately unable to provide coverage for every event that might cause you to cancel. If there is something specific that you want to be sure is covered, feel free to ask about it before you purchase the policy.     There was some initial confusion, but Generali was very prompt in satisfying my claim. I will use them again!

    Great customer service when calling and needing answers to questions. For the price of coverage, it is very reasonable. I also have had good feedback from friends who used Generali Global Assistance and from friends who had claims.

    The representative called me and told what additional information they needed. I emailed the documentation. The next call I got a few days later informed me that they had approved the full amount of my claim and asked whether I wanted a check mailed or some sort of electronic transfer. The representative was both friendly and professional.
