Overall I am very pleased with the way my claim process was handled. It was easy submitting documents in support of my claim. However, I was disturbed at one of the questions concerning the weather elements; particularly to provide ""documentation of a weather condition preventing You from getting to the point of departure for the required length of time". I had already explained that I was airport, and submitted a letter from the airline stating that I was present for the flight and that the flight was cancelled due to weather conditions. Eventually my claim was accepted and paid.

“Generali Global Assistance policy: PreferredOverall, GGA has been very helpful and responsive, particularly the Travel Assistance team members.
I did find the initial Call Center telephone system difficult to navigate, but once I was assigned a case #, the experience improved.
