Due to an increased volume of claims, we are currently experiencing a delay in the processing of the claims but I can assure you we are working diligently to process all claims promptly.
Our trip was canceled by the cruise line. We are trying to work with the insurance company to cover us for free on our next trip. We need you help.

We upgraded our cabin, thus increasing the cost of the cruise. It was not as easy as it should have been to contact the appropriate group at Generali.

We tested positive for COVID the day before our departure and had to cancel our trip.
We canceled our trip through the travel agent as soon as we got the COVID test results.
We filed a claim with Generali sending documents through the mail.
They confirmed receipt of our claim package by email.
The claim is currently being processed, but our interaction with Generali so far has been very good.

I submitted all of the documents required by the insurance policy instructions provided by Generali when we purchased the policy.
In less than a week after submitting the claim Generali sent an email saying it had been approved and a check was in the mail.
We received the check a few days later.
We have used Generali travel insurance for years and never had to file a claim.
It is very reassuring to know they are a very good company when things go wrong.
We will definitely use Generali for future travel.
I tried in vain to speak to someone about combining my policy with my sister’s as we were traveling together. I kept calling and being transferred to other departments and no one answered. I also emailed. When I returned from my trip I received an email from them saying it wasn’t possible. Very disappointed as I have bought policies with them in the past thinking they were dependable.

Your travel insurance gave me peace of mind knowing that if I needed to cancel my trip I would not loose my deposits put down for the trip. I thought the travel insurance fee was reasonable.
I had to contact them to actually get info about my policy. They never sent it to me, and their online system didn't recognize me at all. But when I called, they emailed all my policy info. We went on the trip as planned, everything went smoothly, and we had no issues with cancellations or illness so we didn't need to use the policy.
