Good service, glad we had it and didn't need to use it. Felt is was a little pricey.
I will never purchase this insurance again- I probably will not receive any satisfaction from my claim as there are too many steps- I feel I have to give my first born to get through the hoops. You make it impossible. I , needless to say way very disillusioned , mislead and disappointed!!!!!

We contacted their 24 hour help line for advice during our evacuation notice. It was confusing as to how to proceed in getting out of Puerto Rico. In the end, we made our own travel arrangements for our 9 team members. Now we are in the process of trying to file a very complicated trip interruption policy for 9 people. We are hoping that the coverage is as good as was advertised as the trip was totally interrupted very early and with a huge amount of stress.
Asked to take two people from the policy. Said they would adjust. But still got charged with full amount.

Exceedingly difficult to reach customer service via phone, via email they respond (usually within 24-48hrs, sometimes not at all). I called repeatedly while on holiday due to missing luggage....no answer. I definitely wouldn’t use generali global assistance again.

My claim repersentative at Generali Global was Caitlin Strand, the issue occurred when I attempted to file a claim with generali global. I filed a complaint with squaremouth because I was unable to reach anyone by phone at generali global (even on the emergency line). Generali denied my claim because the airport (Accra) did not provide me with proof that the bags arrived delayed, although I had proof that the bags were missing, 2 news articles (it made national news because over 100 bags were missing from our flight), and pictures of the retrieved bags...the claim was still denied. Logic would have made a reasonable person think of the ease that someone could have said that they never received either bag (remember I had proof of the missing bag) and received a MUCH higher payout, but I was honest...I was only seeking $200 reimbursement for incidentals as outlined in the policy, however reason and logic didn't prevail. I've filed a formal complaint with the NY State Insurance commission and await a resolution.

We have not been able to contact them. We were on hold for almost 1/2 hour. The web page they told us to access our claim was non existent. The page said it was for sale so we have not been able to file a claim and we have tried many ways. We feel that this company might be fraudulent. We are thinking about turning it into the TV Channel fraud line.

Their phone menu system is tedious and it takes too long to reach a customer service representative, and it is complicated if one has a revised or made a change to the original policy.

They require a lot of duplicate paperwork for one illness covering one day lost on a tour = 3 separate claims! One for the doctor visit, one for the extra hotel night, and one for the night missed at the next hotel and guide tour missed at the next destination.
