We took this insurance because it offered coverage for pre-existing conditions. It cost a lot but we did recoup the full cost of his portion of the trip
We filed a cancellation claim with Generali Global Assistance due to an injury sustained just prior to departure. Generali made the process reasonable and were responsive in a timely and effective manner. I would recommend them to other travelers. Squremouth provided excellent service in offering insurance companies.

I’ll let you know more soon but buying and learning about the policies was easy. When I needed help for my son the assistance was fantastic and personal. I haven’t filed a claim yet (son got sick and flight needed to be delayed) but I’ll let you know.
Did not see that the claim could be submitted other than electronically (which was more cumbersome since it required submittal of multiple documents).
Buying was easy. Making a claim, not so much. I was instructed to use the web portal to file the claim documents, but something is wrong on the tech end of the site. I kept getting error messages, and was instructed to "try again" to no avail. Eventually I had to send all the volumes of documentation by mail. Not satisfied at all with the claims process.

Easy to sign up, lots of benefits at a very reasonable price. Felt great that we didn't have to worry if something happened at the beach or at hone, our trip was covered.
