    I submitted my claim by mail, with all documentation as they related to my cancelled flight related to two days that United Airlines had created. The cancellation required my wife and I to stay in Naples.
    All thought your claim form required credit card statements , for major purchases such as hotel rooms that was provided, however cab fares required paying the drivers in Euro's, and receipts were provided , as well as local eating facilities where Euro's were only accepted and receipts were provided.
    I submitted a detail description of all the events that transpired, cancellation notices from the airlines, copies of airline tickets etc.
    Hopefully you will review what my wife and i have submitted and process our claim as soon as possible .

    Put in a claim approximately 3weeks ago and have not heard anything. I did not go on trip because companion cancelled her trip. Prices were too high for me and did not feel comfortable traveling alone.

    when I called from Switzerland, it took a rather long time to navigate through the voice prompted and computer generated responses until I finally got a live person who was able to ultimately help me by answering my questions.

    I fled a claim and submitted all the required paper work , am awaiting their response and hopefully payment.

    When trying to get information for filing a claim was given the run around. One person told me to file the claim for each person affected by the incident yet GGA voided the 2nd claim that had all the medical documents and supporting information for both people. When I called for clarification on the matter I was told I could only file one claim for the trip cancellation insurance even though I had an additional 6 people traveling on the same trip. If another had a sudden medical emergency they would not be allowed to use the insurance. This is not what I was told when I purchased the policy from Squaremouth customer service. After filing the claim all I received as far as communication was a letter via the login GGA system NOT via Email that the claim was denied and cut and paste of the policy parts as the reason. No follow up or asking for additional information.
    I would recommend people not waste their money on trip cancellation insurance at least as a group. I would hope if we had had a medical emergency it would have been covered but as we did not need it I am grateful.

We also want our customers to choose the correct policy to fit their needs and stress the importance of reviewing your coverage details via the sample Description of Coverage/Insurance Policy that’s provided at the time of purchase, and contacting (800) 348-9505 or csa@csatravelprotection.com with additional questions. The plan you purchased includes a variety of covered events under which we can provide coverage if you are forced to cancel your trip due to a medical reason. The plan is unfortunately unable to provide coverage due to a pre-existing condition.

    I needed to file a claims my wife became very ill and was unable to travel. The claim forms from Generali were fairly easy to fill out on line. After about a three week period after filing the claim, it was paid to the full contracted amount. I was very happy with the entire claim process and would definitely purchase a travel policy with Generali in the future (I already have an additional policy).

    I was sick on the morning we were to leave Paris for home so I tried to contact them through their 24 hour call number. I was never able to reach a live person and just kept getting re-routed back to the original message. I ended up leaving Paris that day in spite of being sick and made it home ok. Even though I didn't file a claim, I was quite disappointed that I wasn't able to reach anyone on their 24 hour emergency line. I'm very grateful that I didn't have a real emergency. There was lots of help during the purchasing process but no access to their emergency line when I needed it. I probably would not purchase trip insurance from Generali again.

    I filed the claims via email moments ago. Their website submission process had too many glitches for me to go that route. Our claim is a small one. The insurer's representatives with whom I spoke were very pleasant and helpful. This is our first claim after using Squaremouth many, many times over the years.

    The process wasn't quite "Easy as ABC," but as close it as it's possible to be. Their customer service representatives were friendly and helpful, and our loss claims were handled quickly. We're entirely satisfied. (We also learned to hold onto tickets, boarding passes, etc., until you know for certain you won't be filing a claim. Having them available made things a lot easier.) We'd certainly use them again.
