Online claim process was very clear, uploading of documents easy, resulted in no questions being needed on my part. The claim was settled very quickly in full, by mailed checks. We will use GGA again, completely satisfied.
We were delayed for 24 hours by Qantas. Got vouchers for sub standard hotel and meals and taxi. Disappointed that we could not receive compensation for delay and inconvenience with this policy.

Our return trip from Guatemala was delayed by over 30 hours and we filed a claim based on the policy we purchased. The adjuster denied the claim despite of providing all documentation. I will no longer purchase insurance from General Global Assistance, they are a total rip-off.
My policy did not cover my $600 loss. I had a feeling it wouldn’t, but I was still disappointed that nothing could be done. I understand the policy terms, but it is very frustrating that something totally out of my control could not be compensated. Thank you for your time.

Filing process was pretty straightforward. They asked the necessary travel documents and they settled the claim within 4-5 working days as per the policy. Provided timely updates on the processing. Very happy that i chose Generali
