Our returning flight from Paris was three hours late departing to Charlotte, NC, resulting in us missing our connecting flight to San Francisco. My husband missed one day of work. American Airlines did put us up in a nice hotel. But when we contacted insurance company, they requested receipts for additional meals and incidentals, which we cannot find.

We had to cancel our trip. My wife was diagnosed with brain cancer on 23 April and ordered by her doctor not to travel but proceed immediately into radiation treatment. We were able to recover most of the non-refundable costs.

We filed a small claim to cover some medical expenses incurred. While the filing process was a bit cumbersome, we heard back same day that the claim was approved and a check would be mailed (still too soon to have received the check). Very impressive turnaround time! We will use Generali again on our next trip later this year!

Bought policy in case of need and for protection. Trip went well and had no problems. Would purchase again.

Every step of the process went very smoothly and had no problems.. The representative on the phone with her professional, knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions. I have used square mouth many times for insurance and very happy with the companies that you represent.

The website of Generali Global didn't work right. Even though I uploaded all relevant documents to process the claim. I had to send several documents again by email, which prolonged the process by weeks.
