our claim is pending
I filed a claim on July 9th. As of today I have received 2 emails from Generali indicating that they are reviewing my claim.
Customer service was very helpful making sure I selected the insurance that was right for me.
Excellent customer service. Great value when compared against other providers. Thanks.
Excellent experience. The SquareMouth representative I talked with was super helpful, explained everything and didn’t try to upsell me. In fact, she directed me to a budget friendly product and explained why it would be perfect for my needs, and I really appreciated this. Helpful, professional, friendly - excellent customer service with SquareMouth and I had confidence in my insurance plan.
Am waiting for assignment of claim number. Also, need to add one more item to claim for the purchase of an excursion for me and my son, Fred, in the amount of $140.00. Shall I fax you a copy of my credit card record showing this charge?
great to have insurance.even better not to have to use it!
We bought our trip insurance from General Global Assistance from your web site. Purchase experience was very good. Unfortunately, my wife Rita Ketsler broke her wrist at the start of our trip 06/20/2018 in the Amsterdam airport. The Amsterdam Hospital doctors said that fracture very bad and require a surgery in time maximum in one week. So, next day we returned back to USA and Rita had a surgery 06/26/2018.
We submitted a claim 06/28/2018 to General Global Assistance for a trip interruption. We will claim a medical portion of the claim very soon. Will see how fast General Global Assistance will response to our claim.
Please, contact as 4 (four) weeks from now to find a results of our claim.

The General Global Assistance broke our claim in three separate parts: Trip interruption including Air, Hotel and Cruise, Transportation (taxi , bus) and Medical Expenses. The first two were completely payed off by General Global Assistance. We did not submit yet a medical expenses, because our prime medical insurance still processing Rita's claims for medical expenses outside USA and medical services in USA for surgery, doctors visits and therapy, which will continue for few more months. We hope that GGA will process our claim very properly.
They were most accommodating and the paperwork was about as I had expected.
I am extremely disappointed with the travel insurance policy that I purchased from CSA. During the middle of my trip to Europe in June I was notified after I had checked in and gone through security that my Scandinavian Airlines flight from Stockholm, Sweden to Thira, Greece was cancelled just prior to boarding. SAS was not able to book me on a flight until two days later which was unsatisfactory because I had booked a house rental in Greece and needed to get there that day, June 23rd. My only option was to purchase a seat (the last one available) on a Norwegian Air flight leaving 6 hours later that day at a much higher price.
I filed a trip interruption claim with CSA for the difference in the price between my original flight (which was refunded by SAS) and the price of the Norwegian Airlines ticket. It has been rejected by CSA because the flight cancellation was due to the SAS crew not showing up. They cover trip interruptions for mechanical failures, bad weather and a host of other reasons. I do not understand this type of exclusion and had I known about it would not have purchased the CSA policy.
The cancellation was not a fault of mine and I had purchased insurance to cover just this type of situation - flight cancellations.
I am dissatisfied and would appreciate all assistance that you can give me.
