I called them before our trip to determine whether I could alter the policy to cover an additional week of travel. They told me that if I had bought the policy from them directly, I would be able to do so, but because I had bought it through Squaremouth this would not be possible. For this reason, I plan to buy directly from CSA Travel Protection in the future.

You have a good policy here but the logistics over what will be a small claim of 58 euros is not good. By that I mean I bought one policy and then when making the Claim there are suddenly two separate groups, those dealing with the sickness and those dealing with the payout. You should have one person designated who will take you through both processes and not have it feel as though you have 2 separate claims. You don't know where one group ends and the other begins and you have to explain all the details a second time.
Our trip was, for us, a considerable investment, so we felt that insurance was necessary for our peace of mind. Everything went well, so, happily, we didn't need to make a claim.
What I would suggest is, like some insurance companies, if a person did not need to make a claim, they could get back a small rebate? Just sayin'.
We wish the charges for Health coverage specially for the SENIORS is more affordable and less expensive because of limited income .
