Many Generali customers appreciate the fast and easy online claims process, with many highlighting how quickly they receive reimbursement. However, some customers find the claims portal and the provider’s automated phone system difficult to navigate.

The plan is unfortunately unable to provide coverage for an event that commenced prior to coverage being in effect.
I only needed to call them a couple of times pre departure. They answered the phone immediatly and the first person I spoke to provided me complete and accurate information on all my questions. Perfect service.
I became quite ill at a resort in Alaska and my wife talked to 24 hour global assistance and they provided a medical claim form but not the form needed for the taxis to/from the nearest ER which in Alaska was a 45 minute $100 ride by cab at midnight Sunday night (i.e., between Sunday and Monday). Plus the 24 hour assistance referred us to an urgent care center nearby that didn't open until 9:00 AM Tuesday (i.e., 33 hours after we went to the ER). When I got home I called the regular global assistance and they got me all the needed forms right away and completely understood that in Alaska nothing is close.
Very helpful after United decided to cancel last leg of trip for rain? and/or equipment?. Left us with no way to get home.

I filed a claim on July 9th. As of today I have received 2 emails from Generali indicating that they are reviewing my claim.
Customer service was very helpful making sure I selected the insurance that was right for me.
