I was able to easily apply for the coverage on line. With respect to in-trip contact, I injured my foot during my trip and sought medical attention. I subsequently contacted customer service to advise them of the incident and the actions I had taken. The individual with whom I spoke was helpful in telling me what course of action I needed to take, and arranged to have claim forms forwarded to me.

I followed instructions for submission of a claim, including proof of expense. I received the exact amount requested. The time elapsed between submission and receipt of a check was short. It was done very well.
I appreciated speaking with the CSA Travel Protection customer service person as he really understood my needs and matched then with the least expensive policy that gave me all the benefits I needed. No overselling at all!

It was helpful to me to talk with a Squaremouth representative to walk me through the differences in coverage for several policies to understand exactly what would be covered BEFORE I made a purchase decision. The representative was very knowledgeable and professional, and I rate my interaction with him as a "5." During our trip, we were stuck on Kodiak Island the day we were scheduled to leave due to 60 mph winds, fog and rain, and it was unsafe for the float plane to fly. Luckily, the hotel we had booked for that night in the city of Kodiak cancelled our reservation and did not charge us because it was weather related. When my husband called CSA to give them a heads up that we might be filing a claim, they were responsive and helpful. We are still waiting for the refund to hit our credit card and will contact CSA if anything changes.
