    There was some confusion about my hotel's cancellation policy and it seemed so unusual, SquareMouth reps were not sure what would be covered under the policy, and they recommended that I contact Gererali directly. I did, and the Gererali folks were very patient and knowledgeable, and they were able to assure me that the policy would cover all of the possible hotel cancellation fees. So I bought the policy. Luckily I didn't need to cancel and all was well.

    Filing the claim online was very easy. They clearly explained which documents were needed to file the claim. Response occurred promptly the following day after filing the claim. No further documents were needed, and my claim was accepted. Payment for the claim was deposited directly into my checking account just a few days later.

    Very happy with Generali Travel Insurance. I fell on a cruise ship and incurred a sizable bill from the ship's medical center. I filed a claim online at about 4pm. The next morning, i received an email that my claim was approved and I had payment about a half hour later. Incredible!

    They were very quick to respond and to approve payment once I had all info sent in. They let me know what I was missing. Very helpful on the phone when I was trying to submit my receipts.
