    Before Trip
    Aquiring travel insurance was quick & easy, using my smart phone while in a car. The website is user friendly & quickly lists multiple carriers for easy comparison and decision making. I did not need to call customer service to acquire my insurance policy. Documentation was emailed immediately & could be printed to add to other travel documents.

    During Trip
    Fortunately, I did not have to use my insurance for this trip.

    NA- I did not have to file an insurance claim.

    It has been a month since I submitted the claim and other than an acknowledgement that they received the claim they have not seeen fit to contact me one way or th other.

    I received my documents promptly, and carried a paper version in my luggage and kept the electronic version on my iPod.

    Before Trip
    It was very easy to pick the insurance coverage we needed and secure that coverage online. Just a little confusing in terms of the actual coverage so I had to re-read it a number of times to make sure of what I was buying.

    During Trip
    We did not use the services at all. We had only one travel delay that was handled by our in-country travel agent. We were not inconvenienced nor did our plans have to change.

    Claim Process
    We did not have to make any claims so it is not possible to rate the carrier or the service. We bought the policy for peace of mind and it certainly gave us that.

    Thank you for the coverage. I found the website easy to use, and the policy printout easy to understand.

    Claim Process
    Don't suspect one can claim for rudeness of airlines staff?? US Airways treated me like dirt on my outbound flight. They refused to allow me my very small "carryon case" and then proceeded to humiliate me by forcing me to sit on the floor and remove my valuables from opened case, whilst a few hundred passengers stepped over me right at the door of the plane. Why? because they had allowed many other passengers board with many huge cases which took up all the space. Maybe in future, you can add coverage for being "treated like **** by the airlines". I would gladly pay extra premium.

    It was just how travel insurance should be. We could select the coverage we thought best for the type of travel involved for a reasonable price. There were no problems so both parties got what was wanted.

    During Trip
    No contacts were made so we had no reason to judge the carrier's capabilities or practices.

    No claims were made.
