I got this insurance thru the internet, all my paperworks were printed by me. I never ask anybody about the plicy bec. it's selfexplanatory

I got sick in Dubai during my trip, I called the hotline bec. it's written in my policy that they have an MD or a clinic/hospital that they could refer me. Apparently, this is not true. My son & his wife were the one whor recommended a clinic for me to be seen by an MD. When I called Customer Service re: the payment,I was told that I have to pay out of pocket first, then have my primary insurance in USA to pay my expenses, whatever, my Primary Insurance wouldn't pay, this insurance carrier will pay. I was given a Medical file number.The policy stated that I don't I have to pay out of pocket, that there will be a clinic/hospital that I can go but it didn't happen. The insurance carrier doesn't have a clue of any places where I could get medical help. Thank God my medical situation was not serious but I needed to be seen bec. I needed medications and also being an RN helped.
Claim Process
I didn't file any claim bec. I was told to file my claim with my Primary Insurance first, this was not stated on the policy. For me, the policy was misleading, it was a waste of my money, this was a learning experience for me.

We obtained everything online and didn't need to contact prior to departure.

This policy contained everything we needed; however, and fortunately we did not require customer service nor will we be making a claim.

I did not need to use any insurance services during my trip. BUT I was able to throughly enjoy myself because I knew that I was covered if an emergency arose.
