I received my claim payment in 2 days after submitting TONS of paperwork. The claim process requires proof of payments with receipts, CC statements & bank statements. My original trip was twice cancelled by the trip operator, so I had to transfer the policy twice, the last time to another, less expensive trip. The transfer process was very easy and the refund for the trip difference was handled promptly. I definitely will be using Generali for all of my future travel insurance needs.
