To start my claim, I initially tried to include all of the required documents to the best of my ability. The insurance company requested
one more document which I sent them promptly. Shortly thereafter, they sent me another request for 4 or 5 additional documents. I felt
like they were just making it hard to process the claim so I got frustrated. My claim was the result of the Air Canada strike back in August
so I decided I would attempt to try Air Canada directly to see if I could get some satisfaction.

We experienced a ten hour flight delay with our New Mexico trip. I filed a claim with Generali upon our return and just received approval on payment of this claim. I am just waiting to get further intel on the method of payment from Generali. It has been a smooth process thus far.

While at Sea I tried to contact Squaremouth but was unable to so called as soon as I got off the ship.I was given all the information I needed to start a claim.

Paid first claim quickly. Waiting on second claim status. Initial review was fast. But now after providing additional documents it’s going slow to get reimbursed.

This is the most frustrating, enfuriating experience. It is near impossible to get someone on the phone. We purchased a travel insurance plan only to be told it is denied because of one thing or another. We are being asked to file against our home owners insurance, only to have the deductible which is more than the payout on the claim deducted from the total due. We purchased travel insurance to cover our losses if we did indeed incur any loss.
