Needed to purchase insurance that covered vouchers. Contacted squaremouth and their representatives were helpful in directing me in which company to purchase insurance that would cover vouchers. Two days prior to travel my husband became ill and we were not able to travel. We are in the process of submitting a claim now so we will see how it works for us with vouchers.

We will not buy travel insurance again but rather get changeable tickets. We couldn't go on this trip due to a cousin's death. Cousins' deaths are not covered.

We made a claim on our trip from Jun1-June 14 from Seattle to Athens Greece. Policy number is 22361W0595. The claim was for flight delay, interruptions and lost luggage. We were told we would be contacted by an agent but have not been. It was said that we would receive a claim number but have not had any correspondence.

Our airline (Turkish Air) cancelled our flight 3 weeks before departure causing us to have to purchase tickets with another airline (United). Since it was so close to the trip, our new price for the round trip was over $1,200 more than the original ticket price with Turkish Airline which was purchased 3 months in advance of the flight. I filed a claim for the difference in price, but it was denied.

It was easy to sign up with Generali for my second time with the company. It is difficult to get answers and payments.

it took my calling Generali after about six weeks of no updates to get them to look at my claim. I also felt that I had provided sufficient information, however when I called Squaremouth, I was able to obtain a list of additional items they needed. Once I submitted these, the claim was handled. My biggest problem was the amount of time it took for the claim to be processed.
