Unfortunately the ink on the receipt I received faded and it's very hard to read now. That said the amount of information they were requesting to put in a small claim like mine did not make sense. It would have been way to time consuming for the amount of money so I am not pursuing.
I had a very good experience with Generali Global. At first I thought my trip would be longer and paid for a longer policy. I reached out and my policy was adjusted with that one email, so too thumbs up!

I was able to get the help that I needed while on my trip but since my return to the US, I am very dissatisfied with Generali Global Assistance. The claims process is a nightmare and it is impossible to get any assistance from customer service. When I phone them I I keep on getting referred back to the claim website. I get contradictory e-mails from them and it is impossible to tell if my claim has been completed or if they want more information. I've had no personal contact with them. The e-mails are form letters and very unhelpful.
I have probably spent more than 20 hours so far gathering information, scanning it, uploading it, explaining it and am still not sure if there is anyone actually assigned to reviewing my claim with whom I can talk.

Everything was easy! From signing up to filing my claim. The process was straight forward. As long as you follow the directions you should have no problem. After filing my claim I received my compensation within a few days. I was so disappointed that I couldn’t take my trip due to an injury, but so thankful that I bought travel insurance! I usually buy it when I travel out of the country. I will be using Generali every time! Thank you!

The representative at Generali did not know anything about their insurance policy. I had no answer to many questions. I would not buy from them again, although squaremouth was excellent source and easy to use.
