Our luggage arrived 5 days after we returned home. We bought a few items needed while United Airlines was trying to locate the luggage. The process was easy and a full refund was sent to us. Will purchase a travel insurance from Generali again.

Have used Generali before but have never had to file a claim until now. They have been exceptional. Fast to respond and did exactly as policy claimed. Had a refund in less than 15 days from start to finish. Yasmín was wonderful and returned my phone calls within 24 hrs.
I highly recommend them. Friends are already buying travel insurance from them. Their insurance agency hasn’t refunded their money as of yet.

Still awaiting response on claim. Sent via registered mail all doc they required but got request to send ones already sent. Appears Global just sent out standard request without looking at sent docs. I have yet to hear from Holland America as to what amount of credit they will give. So hope this is reason I have heard nothing from insurance request. I gave the low rates for service because I could not reach a "human" to explain details, all claims are handled via email.

I hold your 800 phone for a long time. Even I left my phone number and call back was the following day. Your service rep is not familiar the coverage function which is covered and which not covered and finally asked me to call insurance company to confirm.
