Good prompt phone support when we were in the midst of a travel delay; impossible to get someone on the phone for help with some questions about filing our claim after we got home, but eventually we figured it out and felt we received fair compensation for our travel travails.
Our tour to Israel was cancelled due to the war. We sought to cancel the policy, but IMG said they could not cancel, but would extend for up to 3 years and we could use on another trip during that time. We have now planned another trip and are attempting to work with IMG to get the policy enlarged and applied to that new trip (more expensive). So far we have received confusing responses, but are hopeful we can get this resolved.
It was very easy to purchase insurance on the website. Also your customer service was very knowledgeable , professional, patient and very nice.
Due to flight cancellations in the Middle East, I emailed before leaving on my trip asking if I would be reimbursed for the additional costs of purchasing new flights. Not only did it take 11 days for a response, but I was told that you “couldn’t confirm coverage on a hypothetical scenario”. I have been trying to submit my claim since I returned last week, but your claim site is not loading. It was easy to purchase my policy, but it hasn’t been easy to use it.
The worst experience in filling claim. Will never buy insurance from IMG again.
590.00 dollar claim for delayed trip home they are paying 156.00 should have stayed in Houston for 4 days in hotel instead of getting home to go to work. Poor insurance company
I am very pleased that when we provided all requested information, IMG had no further questions and promptly returned my own $6000 claim based on my partners broken ankle. Curious that her own claim for $6000 with same information was not approved until 3 weeks later, but I just received it so I am a happy camper and we will DEFINITELY purchase our next international travel insurance from SquareMouth and IMG!!

Very easy to add extra days and flight costs.
during my stay i needed to extend my trip. i contacted img via email and voice mail and never heard back from either. i then reached out by phone and was on hold for almost 1hour. they would not let me extend my coverage. they said i need to let them know the extended date prior to departure. i could not possibly know that i would be needing to extend my trip before I got there. i was taking care of a family member recovering from surgery and her 2 week old baby. how could i possibly know the family person would have escalating medical needs requiring me to extend my visit. they said i had to buy a new policy at a price point i could not afford so i had to go without. i think some type of exception can me made. i am grossly unhappy with; the customer service
Trip cancelled due to war but apparently policy doesn’t cover that. The tour group plans to just “postpone “ the trip for 1 year but the insurance company will not tell me if the current policy can be extended.

The trip was canceled and though a claim was filed, since the cancellation was due to war we were not covered. However we did end up getting most of the trip refunded and are only out a deposit and travel insurance. Lessons were learned.
