Easy to secure travel insurance for 100% of our planned trip to Israel. Thankfully, we didn’t have to cancel but had peace of mind that we wouldn’t lose money on trip in the event we had to cancel.
The first time I spoke with a person from IMG who gave me a list of what I needed to collect to file a claim. I later found out that I needed another medical form to fill out. So this is delaying the submission of my claim. I also understand that once they get the info, that it will be at least 90 days from then on to get my refund. I only hope that I do get that refund. I am not out to defraud anyone.

My wife was having pains in her slider while we were in France and was afraid it might be some serious. She decided to wait until we would be in Oxford England the following day and visit an emergency room. I called IMG to find out the procedure to make sure we were covered for any medical expenses and they informed us that as long as she was not emitted for overnight or operation we did not prior approval. Turns out that in England that there is no cost for anything done through the emergency room. After performing some blood tests and cat scan doctors did not see any infection or abnormalities so we went back to the hotel and did not incur any expenses so we did not file any claim.
The claim process was very involved, as it probably should be. I called on multiple occasions, from guidance on filling filing the claim correctly to inquiring about requests for additional information. The option of being able email, as well as submit claim documents on the website, seemed to cause duplication in the filing of documents. As mentioned at the start, filing a claim is not a simple task, so keeping all documentation around the cruise was critical. If there had been a lapse in my recording keeping, I may still be waiting on refund. All in all, it took about two months from starting the claim to receiving a refund. I am very satisfied with everyone who spoke to me from IMG and getting the refund for a cruise that we were unable to attend.

The fact that your customer portal was down during the entire claims process made everything much slower and cumbersome.
Otherwise, customer service was courteous and turnaround time was acceptable.
Documentation had to be provided twice (several weeks apart) which was annoying, but not a deal breaker.
We had damaged luggage as well as medical expenses. The medical reimbursement forms were straight forward and easy to complete. We were reimbursed without any issues. The forms to claim for damaged/lost luggage was another matter altogether. They wanted copies of all of our travel documents from our time in the pre cruise hotel to the cruise payments etc. It was overwhelming so we decided to just eat the cost of replacing our carry-on. Are there travel policies that provide only medical and return coverage?

When I contacted you all your forces rallied to provide 3 seats for my wife. on 2 different flies to get back to our home in Atlanta.
I wanted to say once again how much Susan and I appreciate the fast and efficient action to find flites/seats to accommodate Sussan's needs to keep her leg elevated. .And to get things done quickly so we could start effort getting her into surgery in Atlanta.
