IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies.     Well designed online enrollment process-clear and concise. It was a revelation that an insurance product that met our needs at a competitive price could be so easily obtained. It was obviously our first time doing this and will do it again in a heartbeat.

    We had to cancel our vacation because we had death in the family, we needed to be home,
    Called to check the status of my claim, I was told the claim will not be processed for 35 days, Customer Care was very knowledgeable and answer all my questions.

    The agent who helped me when I thought we might have to cancel our trip due to an urgent surgery for my husband was thoroughly professional, supportive and correct in her hope that we would not have to file a claim. She really dialed down my anxiety. The surgery and recovery were complete and we got an all clear from the surgeon prior to departure and we had a wonderful trip that we had been looking forward to for a year.

    Filed a claim for trip interruption due to my husband experiencing new onset of chest pain at the departure gate. Medics were called and he was taken to hospital by ambulance. EKG done, blood tests. We were allowed to fly that night. He was seen by his doctor upon arrival home and was sent directly to the hospital where a cardiac catheterization was done and 3 stents were placed

    I injured myself months prior to my departure date and I had to cancel my trip due to a lengthy recovery timeframe. IMG was efficient and helpful during the claim process and my refund payment was as contractually agreed upon. I will use IMG for all future travels.

    IMG was great during the initial process to purchase the policy, and when we wanted to make changes (increase) our coverage when costs were higher for the total trip. However, when it came to the claims process, I was asked for the same information numerous times even though everyone acknowledged that the information had been received. Then I started receiving additional requests for information and each request came with a 20 day review period for the claims people to review the information. I received 5 separate requests for one more piece of information which substantively delayed my claim which was due to the death of my spouse. Making this claim during a very difficult time was only made more difficult. I expected less difficulty and a more efficient process for handling this situation by requesting all documentation at the same time

    I had to cancel my trip because my traveling companion, who I take care of, got a positive result on his cancer test. Due to his delicate medical condition we had to see doctors and have more tests run to determine a course of action. I contact IMG and told them I was having difficulties with their system and didn't know what claim forms to submit. They sent me an email with all the forms. I completed the forms along with the doctor's statement and submitted them on their website. Weeks later IMG sent me an email and said I needed to complete a bank authorization which I submitted that day. The claim still shows as needing more documentation but IMG will not tell me what I need to submit. I called again this morning to their customer service and no one can tell me what I need to send. This is crazy town. I will never use IMG and I will tell everyone who travels not to use them as well. I would rate IMG with negative starts if I could. I don't know if I will ever use Squaremouth based on this horrible experience.

    Ended up getting sick during our cruise and had to go to the medical center which incurred some medical bills. I have filed a claim and am now waiting for my claim to be reviewed.
