The experience was easy and the customer service rep was very helpful and answered my questions.
While on vacation at Cartagena Columbia, I chipped a tooth, and called ALL your telephones numbers listed on the paperwork without getting through (even the call collect#). I wrote 2 emails, without a response as to contact me, letting me know what to do next. Still "not" getting a response, on my last day at Cartagena, I contacted a reconstructive orthodontist (thinking if I had to repair this in the USA, it would probably cost a LOT) and so she took an xray, which showed she could save the tooth with just filing down the tooth which won't reach the nerves or pulp and that's what she did and then covered it with resin.
When I got back home to the USA, I called the Insurance, that then sent me a form by email, which before hanging up, I saw it requested an "authority" form which I didn't see included anywhere on the form or email sent so asked her for it and she said that she didn't have it that once in review, if they need it, they will contact me about it. She instructed me to send the form and all other requested supporting information via email, which I did two days ago, requesting confirmation that they had received the email. I still haven't heard from them, until now, getting this email from you that reminded me I have to follow up... I HATE TO SAY BUT IF THIS WAS TRULY A LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION, this insurance wouldn't have helped me when needing it the most! I have always gotten insurance from you and "never" had to use it but now I see how poorly it is when actually needing it... I still hope it can be resolved and my money refunded...

I said I was satisfied because eventually they did pay me, the $66.61 BUT it was terrible to communicate with them "during" the incident of a chipped tooth while in "Columbia"... The international calling numbers were NOT going through (not even the call collect number worked), and even sending them emails, there was NO response. I had to wait until I arrived in FL, USA, to submit my claim. This was hair-raising to me, being if this were a devastating accident or sickness etc., I would have been truly abandoned outside on international grounds without their help! Also had to follow up a couple of times, calling from the USA, being the claim was having issues uploading on the website and even through email, they weren't getting it, so I had to follow up a couple of times to finally confirm, they got it... I would not use them again, though I'm glad, they eventually paid the claim but it seems for $66 I truly felt, I was paying for my time and effort involved, instead of a seamless claim submission from beginning to end, it was truly, terribly executed and a terrible experience not being able to reach customer service at the destination during my time of need... But I do remain grateful for my claim to be accepted and to then payment finally be received were the only reasons I gave it a 3-star... Thank you
I chose this policy based on the policy that had the best hurricane protection. Since the trip was to Orlando, FL, in September, there was a 1:10 chance of a hurricane interrupting it. What actually happened was that my wife passed away unexpectedly a couple of weeks before the trip, so the trip had to be cancelled. I was able to get all of the pre-paid expenses refunded by the vendors except for the condo rental. I called IMG and asked about how to claim that expense, and I got good, clear information. Now I have the info, I intend to file the claim ASAP.

Spoke with a rep after our trip to get a few general questions answered. She was friendly and knowledgeable, and made sure that my concerns were addressed by asking many questions to make sure I did not have a claim to file.
Filed a claim on our trip in July which we purchased insurance for the entire trip including hotels, cruise, etc. The claim process has proven to be very challenging, sluggish, and continued questions over a $600+ stolen bag issue. Have responded to every question on multiple occasions and the claim was filed end of July. To date, no resolution has occurred and communications is non-existent. We have been loyal customers for years and this is the first claim ever. It does bring to bear what the value of insurance is going forward since the payment is not forthcoming. While the claim is handled by a 3rd party and I have worked closely through them their own self-imposed deadlines get missed.

Provided all the details requested multiple times to Surego Admin Svcs, a third party company, and then at the end was asked for a Police Report from Italy. I had explained we were on Flix Bus to catch our ship in Trieste. Upon arrival a bag was missing. Flix was of no help as said they were not responsible. They did follow up in lost and found to no avail. Our checkin time was 1230p on our ship and we had to go directly there. By not having a Police report they fully denied our claim which was proven in other way. Use of travel insurance is not worth the cost and to be treated this way says take the risk but do not pay for a policy that looks for every loophole to deny a legitimate claim. My policy was written by Trawick Intl but you do not deal with them for your claims but the third party. NEVER WASTE YOUR MONEY AGAIN ON THIRD PARTY TRAVEL INSURANCE OR YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED IN THE PROCESS. BUY IT FROM YOUR PROVIDER OF THE CRUISE LINE AS THEY HAVE GREAT REPUTATIONS.
