I am very happy with my purchase of insurance through Square Mouth. When I returned home I needed to file a claim and called iTravelInsured and was immediately sent the appropriate claim form and instructions as to how to file a claim. Filing was very easy, just fill out the form and send attachments though email. Claim has been sent and I am waiting for further communications. We are planning a future cruise and will purchase our insurance through Square Mouth.
Worst travel insurance company I have ever dealt with. My wife & I had to cut short our Hawaii vacation and return to Florida on 1/24/19 because of our daughter's colon cancer surgery. I paid our own airfare. I had insured our Oceania cruise from Miami on 2/5/19, including flights from Hawaii to Miami arriving 2/5/19. Oceania charged us $550 for these flights which we did not use because we returned from Hawaii 11 days earlier because of our daughter's surgery.
The flights were non-refundable. I Travel has refused to reimburse us for this amount.

Don't buy iTravelInsured if you expect prompt claims service! We had to cancel a trip to Fiji when I had surgery for an ankle injury. Although this was a very straightforward cancellation claim where we requested refunds for only two airlines and two resorts, it took 2 months for iTravelinsured to process it. They did pay in full so I gave them 2 stars, but the hassles, constant delays, and uncertainty over whether our claim would be paid were unacceptable. I've dealt with several other travel insurance companies over the years and all were better than iTravelinsured. My impression is that they are very understaffed and that the travel insurance business is just a sideline to their medical insurance business. Here are some examples of their slow service. USPS delivered our claim documents on May 3, but iTravelinsured didn't even log them in as "received" until May 9, and didn't request medical records from my doctor until May 30. At that time they also sent a letter requesting additional documentation from me regarding not receiving refunds on nonrefundable airline tickets even though I had provided copies of ticket receipts showing that they were not refundable and had submitted a signed affidavit with the original claim stating that we would not be using the tickets. So I faxed more copies of the original documents with a new cover letter pointing out that "nonrefundable" meant that no refunds would be issued, and that did the trick. All I could find out through repeated phone calls with long hold times (they don't send emails) was that our claim was "being processed", until finally on June 26 it was completed and I was told it would be paid. We finally got the checks on July 9. During the process I had to submit over 25 pages of documents (not counting the medical records), good thing I have a FAX. I bought the ITravelinsured policy because it cost about 10% less than comparable policies that covered scuba diving, but I won't make that mistake again.
