I have no complaints about the speed with which the claim was resolved, nor the final result. The policy paid out exactly as I thought it should have.
My only complaint involves communication. After filing the complaint, I never received any acknowledgement that the claim had been received, or that the supporting documents I had submitted were satisfactory. A simple acknowledgement would have been quite welcome. But then again, given the speed with which the claim was resolved, I was in limbo only a short while.
I am withholding further comment about JH until I learn the outcome of my claim. I was not at all reassured by the response of the JH representative on the assistance line.
Agent on phone was friendly but not knowledgeable. Policy language is ambiguous and agent couldn’t make sense of it.
We had a cancelled flight at one of our stops and it said on policy that after a three hour delay we can get 750 each traveler upon calling they told us that we can only get 150 each this is really disgusting we paid top notch price for this insurance and now that this happened we are not getting that which we deserve. Also we are jewish people and we cant eat everything only kosher so after the cancelled flight we didnt get kosher meals on any of the flights cuz our food was on the earlier airplane so we starved till we got back to new york...this is service??at least the money weshould get thanx for understanding hanah schonbrun i wouldnt recommend this policy to no one

I will have a better idea of whether or not I have had a good experience after my claim is processed.
You definitely took the hassle away from having to choose the right policy terms for our cruise vacation. Peace of mind was very improbable us and that’s what you provided us . Thank you!
I am waiting on my claim to be processed.
Luckily I did not need this policy as nothing serious happened during my trip. But it would have been a great shame if I didn’t have it when I needed it.
