The claims department was very clear about what was needed to process my claim. When I had questions, they were very friendly and helpful on the phone. This was my very first claim and it all went smoothly. I received my check for the full amount of my loss, even including what I paid for seat preferences on the airline. I will definitely buy insurance from them again. Hopefully I eon’t Have to put in another claim.
One suggestion I would have is that a simple email or text from the processing department letting me know when my check was mailed would have relieved my anxiety. Allowing direct deposit would also have been much better.
While in Paris I was injured and had surgery for a broken left leg and ankle at the American Hospital of Paris. My son contacted your company the day of the surgery and the girl (Olivia or Laura) was very helpful. There was a problem with your company getting the info it needed from AHP. I had a follow up visit with the doctor and paid the hospital and physicians bill on September 5. My son scanned and sent you all of the invoices and documents required. I returned to the US September 8 and Olivia requested the payment authorization which I sent by email. She’s forwarded it to claims for payment. I am presently awaiting reimbursement. Olivia has been extremely kind and helpful. I did not expect to have an injury or claim but I am glad I purchased the policy (Assuming I will be reimbursed).

This claim was handled very well by the staff and company. Olivia talked to my son, my husband and me about my injuries in Paris and the claim. She was very friendly and helpful. I have told several people about this travel/health policy and the professional way it was handled. Reimbursement was received about 3 weeks after my invoices were sent in. I will purchase this each time I travel to Paris to stay with my sons family. Thank you!
So far every step has been great. Broke a tooth while there, and was going to wait to get hime to get it fixed but ended up with quite a bit of pain. Called customer service and they sent forms for dentist to fill out.
I will be sending forms in this week. I will update review upon re-imbursement. So far its been great!
We were three adult family members with different addresses in the same state who went on the same trip together, and my email question to John Hancock customer service was answered promptly by them. It made the decision to purchase much easier. We chose a policy which covered our needs and felt much more reassured about our trip - luckily we did not have to use it, but I would recommend this travel insurance to others.
For several years i purchased my travel insurance from seven corners. At best, their customer service was uneven. In my last time, I experienced a six hour flight delay. Seven corners was very unhelpful with my claim. They provided the customer service of an amoba. Disgusting. Needless to say I was extremely agitated when I saw,that seven corners was the under writer for John Hancock for my trip. Other than this minor point, everything fine.
very helpful staff..when our plane was cancelled I called customer service to inquiry re claim process...staff person was very understanding,sympathetic of our situation and email a claim form.. I couldn't ask for better service

And I want to submit claim for loss checked luggage.
But I have not received formal claim# yet
I have spoken to 2 people since I became ill while traveling. Both were pleasant and helpful.
