Trip was cancelled due to hospitalization for emergency surgery just before instead trip. Initial claim forms provided not for trip cancellation. New forms provided, filled out and submitted.
The Company rep. was polite, courteous and answered all my questions. Also, provided additional information via U.S. Mail.

The initial interaction was good, but there has been no resolution or progress update yet. I have filed two claims. One for ticket reimbursement for one person not being able to travel due to a family medical situation and one for delayed luggage.
Customer Service very responsible when I contacted them by email. My questions were immediately answered.
We were unable to take our trip as planned due to my husbands emergency heart issue. We are currently waiting for John Hancock to process our claim.

My trip was great without any issues so I did not have to use the insurance. However, I was grateful for the peace of mind of knowing I had insurance in case it was needed. I would purchase again.
I needed to update the amount of the policy and I called John Handcock. The process was fairly simple and I was satisfied.
I will not be using John Hancock again. When I set up the cancel for any reason policy I was told I would be able to increase the amount covered as the amount of loss deposit increases. The problem was resolved but not without headache. I have used Squaremouth many times before but they did not assist me with this issue.
