I had hoped to receive more to over my trip interruption cost due to weather but I received more than the agent said I would on the phone so the result is a draw.
Got sick while in India and Nepal. Upon return to USA, contacted and visited family Dr for treatment. Contacted JHIA to advise I would be making claim for reimbursement of expenses associated with treatment. Was sent claim papers and instructions. Overall experience has been acceptable. Will wait to see how claim is resolved.
Filed the claim today for reimbursement of hotel night due to missed connection. I will review when I see how quickly efficiently and properly this is handled, until then, what is there to review?
I like the flexibility to tailor a policy to my needs
I have sent my information in several times dealing with this claim. It has been going on for months. I receive emails stating they have everything they need. I, also, receive emails stating that they need the same things I have already sent in. I am getting really tired of dealing with this problem. I would like the claim settled and a check sent to me for the full amount of the claim.
Please take care of this asap.

Once I contacted SquareTrade the insurance company I used decided to pay the claim first thing the following morning. I would definitely recommend square trade but not so sure about John Hancock
Our luggage didn’t follow us on the first of our two legs home. In addition to contacting the airline, I called your customer service line. While they couldn’t help with recovering our luggage, they told me how I could file a claim, if necessary, and sent me the appropriate forms. Fortunately, the airline came through and our luggage arrived on our doorstep soon after we returned home.
i usually take out my insurance for the deposit amount and increase the coverage amount when I make the final payment, Thai has usually been handed with a phone caller through the internet and the change is immediately made. In this case it was an ordeal.. I first contacted squremouth and was told that I had to contact John Hancock directly. Once I finally reached someone at John Hancock who could assist me, it took several days to get the change made. Very frustrating.
All good since we didn't have any problems on the trip.
unfortunately, i had to file a claim.
i could not go on my trip due a sudden medical condition.
i expect a full $4000 reimbursement.
i would much rather have gone cat skiing.
The company was efficient and prompt in processing my claim.
