I am still waiting for the paper work. I need the paper work to submit for the 2 day delay. I hope it comes soon
The agent was very helpful. I am waiting to file the claim for all the information needed to come in.
My return flight was cancelled due to high winds in the Northeast. My trip was delayed one day. I called in to advise the insurance co of my situation. They were sympathetic and I did find a hotel to stay at although many were already fully booked. A claim form was emailed, and I submitted it and my Priceline hotel receipt by fax after we returned. They confirmed receiving my claim, and it is in process.

I called the toll free number shortly after I was alerted that out flight home was cancelled (due to high winds from a nor'easter). The person on the phone was friendly, but was uncertain that my policy covered delays. I read her the relevant paragraph of my policy, and she agreed we had coverage. She promptly sent a claim form, which I submitted when we got back.
All rooms were booked near the airport since so many flights were cancelled. We had to stay a bit further away and pay a bit more because of low availability. But the expense was fully reimbursed. When we got to the airport the following day, we saw people who were sleeping in the airport!
This was the first time we used trip insurance. We did because a cruise is expensive and more can go terribly wrong. We will use them again.
Our trip was interrupted by the snowstorms in Ireland and the United Kingdom, delaying our return to the USA. We do intend to file a claim as soon as we can collect needed receipts for expenses incurred as a result of the delay.
I have called John Hancock Insurance agency twice in this week and ask that they send me a claim form. Both time I was told that the claim form would be emailed to me that day. I have yet to receive anything from John Hancock except this survey.
It was all OK, but I was never exactly sure what I could or could not use. I was disappointed that dental coverage did not count a capped tooth as "natural."
Site was easy to use. Fortunately, the insurance was unused.
I was not able to make my trip due to my travel companion having emergency surgery. I called John Hancock to see how I make a claim, and they were extremely helpful. I was able to get everything refunded through my travel airline and reward points, so I ended up not needing to make a claim.
While we were were on our trip to Israel we stayed st a hotel in Jerusalem. We then we instructed to label our luggage and they would transport them to our next hotel. Out of about 900 bags - 1 of ours was lost. Actually put in another room in error and the people didn’t see it. It had all our toiletries and medications in it. I was hoping this would have been covered by the insurance. It caused much stress without the medications. But we were told since we got the bag the night before we left it was not covered. We were without for 3 days
Just disappointed it wasn’t covered!
I was directed to the proper site to sign up for travel insurance via email.
