Customer assistance was excellent. They were professional and sympathetic. Required forms were forwarded immediately, with follow up contact with the medical provider out of country.

I purchased a policy only a few days prior to my trip after realizing I would not have health insurance while out of the country. I went online a found the process very easy. Unfortunately on the morning of my departure my father passed away unexpectedly. I called the customer service line and spoke to Angela H. She was extremely helpful. She patiently explained the process I would need to follow. After submitting my documentation I received a check for the full amount within 3 weeks. I will definitely use this company again.

My claim took an excessive time to process even though I provided all the receipts up front. When I heard this morning, they only paid about 60% of the claim. My medical condition required me to convalesce for a number of days before we could resume our journey. I was discharged from the hospital after two days and could not live on the street or eat in soup kitchens. They did not reimburse me for hotel and meal expenses during my convalescence. I paid over $800 for coverage I was led to believe would cover my trip delay expenses. It was a rip off. If you are traveling, do not be taken in by this company.
Great advice on the policy purchase. Customer service was helpful and responsive. Claim submission was easy. Payment was timely. Very pleased with the whole process.
