Arch RoamRight Travel Insurance Reviews

My wife and I purchased RoamRight travel insurance before our trip to Paris in September, 2017. While in Paris, my wife had to visit an emergency room due to her medications being stolen. RoamRight covered the ER visit, medication cost at a pharmacy, and transportation to and from the hospital, minus the small deductible. I downloaded the claim forms, completed them, and attached a cover letter since the circumstances didn't fit well in the forms. But, there was no hassle, the insurance worked as it was supposed to work, and I am very satisfied.

Trip was cancelled due to surgery on October 6, with a predicted 6 month recovery. All paperwork has been submitted and acknowled as received. I still don't know if the credit card charge has been cancelled

Sadly I was badly bitten by a dog just before my trip and needed to cancel. I contacted RoamRight and they were very helpful in informing me what I needed to do. I filled out all the forms and sent them in via email. A couple of weeks later I phoned again to check on my claim. I was told that it was approved and that I would be getting a check. It wasn’t long before the check arrived. They made it all so easy. They were efficient, informative, and courteous as well as sympathetic about what happened to me. I will definitely use them again.

We ended up cancelling the trip to India (11/12/2017 to 11/21/2017) due to serious air pollution problems in the New Delhi area. We are in the process of transferring the policy coverage over to the rescheduled trip to India in February, 2018.

The tour companies offer insurance but never cover preexisting conditions, or a half-million-dollars med-evac at affordable prices. The best buy is RoamRight.

Will get insurance with them again.
