It Took Roam Right Way Too Long To Settle My Claim
Thank you for reaching out. Due to the busy hurricane season this year causing an influx of claims, claims decisions took longer than usual. Please know we are back to our normal turnaround time, and we hope you keep us in mind when it's time for your next trip.
Nothing but positive things to say so far. I was unable to take my trip due to parental illness. I was supposed to travel with my brother but both of us needed to be with the family. The claim will be for $590 which was the cost of canceling flights for myself and my brother through TAP. TAP is supposed to refundus some monies directly and I am waiting for that amount to be credited to the credit card.
I have already recommended Squaremouth to other people. Customer service has been very helpful before and after the scheduled trip.

After tripping on the stairs and breaking my elbow in London, I was extremely glad I had purchased insurance from Squaremouth. The National Health Service charges non-EU customers 150% of the hospital costs. Squaremouth people helped navigate that experience, took care of the flight back home and did an excellent job of follow up every night to see how I was doing. Amazing!

I give this company 5 stars - the entire process was very easy, not only to purchase, but I unfortunately needed to file a claim. My husband wound up having to have knee replacement surgery and we needed to cancel our trip to Romania and the Czech Republic. We were compensated for every $ we had spent AND I learned a very unfortunate lesson. I had failed to insure my "ticket" as it was purchased with points. Note to self for future travel - make sure you are covering everything from beginning to end.
I would definitely do business with Roam Right again.

Besides being slow in processing the claim, the matter has been settled fairly since it is a small amount of claim ($95 minus $50 deduction).

Had to extend my dates from the original plans and they helped me with the Insurance extension. No problems. And they were very helpful.

I filed a claim on September 9, because our trip to the Virgin Islands was canceled due to the hurricane. They had all the correct information and I still have not received a check. They emailed me shortly after I filed a claim and said they had all the correct information and it was being processed. I have called several times to check on the status and still have not received a check.
