Arch RoamRight provides two easy-to-understand policies on Squaremouth: Pro and Pro Plus. These plans are great for families because they cover one child under 18 for each adult insured.

*The overall customer rating is the average of all reviews for the provider since they joined the marketplace.
Many Arch RoamRight customers highlight the provider’s quick claims process and compassionate customer service representatives. However, some travelers report that updates on their claim status are rare, and gathering the needed documents for claims can be challenging.
I find Roam Right to be good coverage for a fair price and customer service is very good.
Thank you for your review. We look forward to helping protect your next tip.

I purchased a ticket for a friend who was planning to travel with me. She had to cancel because of a death in the family. I was hoping that my loss would be covered, but Roam Right said it wouldn't. I sort of get it, but it was still a loss for me. Next time, I won't be so helpful to a friend. That's too bad.
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear your friend had to cancel their trip and we express our condolences. As I am sure you were told, in order for your friend’s plane ticket to be covered, there would have needed to be a policy for her. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our claims department at claims@roamright.com or at 855-762-6252.
It was affordable and gave me peace of mind
Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear you had peace of mind while on your trip, and we look forward to helping protect your future trips.

The claim was handled by a trainee, who can not read and understand the English language.
The so called resolution was first mailed to my address in the USA, while I was overseas
But, even if I were not overseas, the insurance was bought on line, the claim was filed on line, IT MUST HAVE BEEN HANDLED ON LINE
AND IT MUST HAVE BEEN HANDLED BY THE PERSON WHO CAN READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE
The third grader would have understood better that it was the claim for the emergency situation, due to unforeseen circumstances during my trip
That emergency ruined my trip and brought about totally unexpected expenses, ONLY A PART OF WHICH WAS CLAIMED.
THIS IS ABOUT THE INSURANCE COMPANY, WHICH I FOUND TOTALLY WORTHLESS
ADD TO THAT YOUR SO CALLED NO CLAIM OR WHATEVER PROCESSING. HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY THREE DIFFERENT PEOPLE, EACH PROMISING TO HELP.
NOTHING HAPPENED. NOTHING
I had to cancel my trip for medical reasons (had cancel for any reason coverage). I thought RoamRight might have questions since I cancelled before the diagnosis and "no travel" order, but I knew I was sick and cancelled right before final tour payment was due, so the claim was only for nonrefundable deposits. They were satisfied with the explanations. The form is straight forward. I mailed it, waited a little while - maybe 4-5 weeks - and the check arrived. No problems. You can track your claim online so it doesn't feel like paperwork went into a black hole. Didn't have to call them, so can't evaluate "live" customer service.
Prompt and efficient service.
We needed to cut our trip short due to a death in the family. I contacted RoamRight and they sent the appropriate forms to file after our trip. I filed the forms and RoamRight/Squaremouth covered the costs we incurred due to the changes in our flights, etc. My only concern with the process was that I wasn't easily able to determine what the coverage was and what amount would be covered when rebooking our flights. It was more of a hope that things would be covered after the fact. It all turned out well in the end, but was not easy to decipher during the trip overseas. I do appreciate the customer service and will use RoamRight/Squaremouth in the future for travel insurance.
Interacted with RoamRight Customer Service via email; disappointed with RoamRight's lack of communication that there was a way to submit the claim online initially rather than via email.
7/2/17 submitted claim via email (as I didn't see any instructions on how to submit the claim online).
7/5/17 RoamRight initiates claim receipt to claimant; claimant immediately resubmits all documents that were already submitted via email via RoamRight's website link.
7/23/17 awaiting for response and status. Unknown where claim is in RoamRight's process at this time; unknowns and lack of communication from RoamRight causes unnecessary anxiety.

Roam Right was great. We could not go due to my wife's post operative problems. Sent claim to Roam Right and received check in full in two weeks. Will only buy from them in the future.
