Overall, RoadRight was very good. I didn't give 5 stars for 2 reasons: (1) there was a few week delay between filing the claim and any sign of life. The amount of time to processing the claim was not an issue, and they were actually really fast, but some sign of life would have been appreciated; (2) They asked for a lot of additional information after filing the claim, which they could have asked for up front when they asked for some information together with the claim (or even better, it was information that really they should have just collected at the time the insurance was paid for before the trip). But once they had all the information they wanted, everything was very fast and easy.
Thank you for your review. Part of our claims process involves emails that alert you during each step of the process. These emails may have gotten trapped in your email’s spam filter. Additionally, we allow customers to log into their accounts and track the status of their claims. Also, not every claim is identical. There are cases where our claims examiner may request additional documentation after viewing the details of your claims.

The app they have for smartphones does not work very well and needs to be improved. I had to delete and reload the app several times in order for the app to work.
We are safe and sound: While we were in London, there was a terrorist attack. We so very much appreciated receiving an email from Roam Right with useful information as to how to contact the US Consolate if we would need to do so. We appreciated the tone of the email, which was calm and direct and prompt. We plan to buy Roam Right in the future as needed.
