I purchased the policy. Later I added more coverage. Then I was hospitalized and could not take our trip. I filed a claim and it was paid up to the policy limits.
Everything about the claim process occurred as it should have. I anticipated hassles and delays, but that did not occur. Therefore, the the entire process exceeded my expectations!

Very easy to enroll.
The coverage was what I was looking for. The price was right. Since I never needed Roam Rights assistance or coverage, I.can't comment on that.

The only real way to know if an insurance company is good or not is when or if a claim is filed. Impossible to rate otherwise. I felt better traveling with some insurance, so would use them again.

RoamRight processed the claim quickly, even though the airline was uncooperative in giving me all the information I needed. The online claim form was easy to use. Great experience. I would purchase travel insurance from them again.
I submitted a claim for an emergency room visit while in Costa Rica. It has been one week and I have not heard back from RoamRight, but this is a short turn around. I did telephone RoamRight to be sure they had my claim and the customer service rep was very courteous and friendly.

Our trip went well and we had no real opportunity to interact with the company other than checking on possible contingency needs in case of a missing a flight connection.
