As is standard practice across the insurance industry in regards to baggage claims, the insured must submit receipts and other applicable documentation for review before being reimbursed.

Additionally, please note that you do not have to file a claim online. You can download and complete the claims forms sent to you by our after-hours call service and email them to claims@roamright.com. You can even send the forms through the mail to the address on your description of coverage.

Questions were answered promptly . I did not have any claim so I don't know how efficient they are in processing claims
It was simple. Felt reassured that if I got sick or injured and couldn't go to Hawaii, after dreaming about it for 30 years, I could file a claim and get some of my money back!

The call center for claims was uninformed about specifics of the claim. Other than that, the customer svc was ok.

Am still waiting for delay documentation from the airlines to accompany our claim. Will review again after claim has been filed and response received from Roam Right.
Up to this point, have been very pleased with the easy comparison and purchasing features on the Roam Right website, the quick access to help via the emergency line while still in China, and the follow up e-mail with claim forms and information included before we had even returned to the United States.

RoamRight had the appropriate variety of policies at reasonable prices to cover emergency evacuation, if required, for our China vacation excursion. We traveled with our 92 year old father, WWII veteran who purchased his own policy separately. Your policy enabled us to have the security to support him in case of an emergency as well as coverage for us.

It was easy to purchase the policy on line. My husband got dehydrated and ended up in a Mexican hospital (a very nice one). We are on Medicare and supplemental insurance and thought neither would pay. Medicare does NOT pay for out of USA medical bills. But our secondary did. After they paid, minus our deductible, we submitted the paperwork to SquareMouth and got our out of pocket money (deductible of secondary insurance minus SM deductible of $50.) The whole process was paperwork, sure, but otherwise painless. We would certainly buy a policy from them again!
