I and my party had to Cancel the trip due to a medical injury. I and my wife were the only tow that insured by roam Rite. The claim was filed about three weeks ago and more information was submitted last week. Haven't heard back since then.

i filed a claim on a "delayed luggage" issue. i have yet to hear from the assigned person as to the status of the claim and therefore do not feel qualified to rate RoamRight.

I was advised to file a claim FIRST with my medical insurance company: Aetna. I intend to mail it tomorrow. After I receive feedback in the mail from Aetna, I will then file with your company.

Purchased online. When I called Customer Service with additional questions, they answered all of them to my satisfaction. I had no need to file a claim, so cannot comment on the service in that regard.

Filing a claim depend on reembursement from my health insurer.
I was very pleased with the navigability of website. also, i engaged a Live Chat to clarify a few details before purchase. it was through, swift and affordable. luckily i did not have to file a claim as my trip went uneventful on that level. i will use the site again when traveling abroad.
We originally purchased a policy for an Alaska cruise, but had to change that for personal reasons. RoamRight made the change very easy and promptly provided us with a refund for the difference in price. Thank you!

Sadly, 5 days before my departure date I started to have extreme bleeding from my lower lip. It was so bad I went to Urgent care where the MD said it was possibly melanoma , gave me two needles in my lip and stitched it shut. Told me I needed to see an ENT doctor asap. First available was the 20th of July, the day I was booked to fly to SanDiego . Saw him on the 20th. Scheduled for biopsy of my lip and procedure to cauterize and stitch lip. Trying to get paperwork completed for Roam Right but unsuccessful so far catching up with the MD on site that day.

Thank you for your review. You do not need to have the treating physician from your visit to Urgent Care fill out the attending physician statement document. We will accept a document filled out by any treating physician that verifies the need to cancel your trip, including the doctor that performed your biopsy on the 20th. Your claim examiner will be contacting you today to make sure you are aware of all your options for having this document completed.
