I have not filed a claim. I did not see a Dr. during my travels; however, I did contact some kind of stomach bug and went to my Dr. when I got home. She ran several tests to determine if I had gotten a parasite or something else detectable. Still having some slight stomach issues, but not as severe.

Are these tests and Dr. visit after I returned covered on this policy?

We were very pleased with our RoamRight experience. Your customer service reps were very helpful and efficient. We felt that the policy was affordable and was tailored to suit our needs. I would certainly share my positive experience with others in need of travel insurance and recommend you to them.

I just filed a claim for a damaged suitcase (bag). The Customer Services person I talked with was knowledgeable and helpful. She forward me a claim form and I submitted it this week. Hopefully will have a successful result.

RoamRight was easy to purchase and very affordable. Luckily, we did not need to use the insurance.

I lost a brand new jacket at the airport, which was covered under lost or stolen baggage benefits. I handled the claims process entirely online, uploaded supporting documents to the RoamRight website, and received an entirely favorable decision about a week later. A couple of days after that, I received a check in the mail for the full amount I had paid for the jacket. I was very satisfied with both the process and the results.

The process took too long - I submitted my claim on June 2 and it wasn't fully resolved until mid-July. There were long periods of time with no communication and I had to keep checking in. In the end I was happy with the analysis and the amount paid.

Looked at other companies in the internet but Squaremouth was the only one that I found that connected me with what I was looking for at a reasonable price. I'll will definitely use them again.

Claim was easy to file online, turn around time was about what the website said it would be. Once I received notification for the payout, it was just a matter of a few days before check was received. Thanks.

The website was very easy to navigate and the details of the policy were clear and understandable and the opportunity to compare multiple policies side-by-side was invaluable. In entering information, I realized later that I had incorrectly entered my contact email. I called customer service and the rep I talked to was helpful and friendly and fixed the problem for me right away.
While we didn't use our policy, we had a couple of reminders on our trip that you really do need travel insurance. Another party (a family of 7) in our tour group nearly missed the first day of the tour due to flight delays. As it was, they came directly from the airport and boarded the bus without a chance to even check in to the hotel. Had they missed it, the total cost of lost tour experience would have been substantial.
The second situation involved a man we encountered on a hiking trail at the Cliffs of Moher who had fallen and sustained a compound fracture to his lower leg. Personnel on site were able to evacuate him to the visitor center, but I imagine he was taken by ambulance to a hospital some distance away at great expense. It gave us great piece of mind knowing we were covered for nearly anything that might have come up.
