The website was very easy to navigate and the details of the policy were clear and understandable and the opportunity to compare multiple policies side-by-side was invaluable. In entering information, I realized later that I had incorrectly entered my contact email. I called customer service and the rep I talked to was helpful and friendly and fixed the problem for me right away.
While we didn't use our policy, we had a couple of reminders on our trip that you really do need travel insurance. Another party (a family of 7) in our tour group nearly missed the first day of the tour due to flight delays. As it was, they came directly from the airport and boarded the bus without a chance to even check in to the hotel. Had they missed it, the total cost of lost tour experience would have been substantial.
The second situation involved a man we encountered on a hiking trail at the Cliffs of Moher who had fallen and sustained a compound fracture to his lower leg. Personnel on site were able to evacuate him to the visitor center, but I imagine he was taken by ambulance to a hospital some distance away at great expense. It gave us great piece of mind knowing we were covered for nearly anything that might have come up.

RoamRight was a really good choice for travel insurance. My computer was damaged on the flight home and was covered in full when I submitted my claim. The Claim process was easy and payment came in good time. I am highly satisfied and would buy insurance from them again. I will also recommend them whenever the opportunity arises. There are so many options for travelers insurance but RoamRight is the best. Easy to use website and the price differentials per each different rate accurately represent what will be covered! Luckily during my travels there were no accidents, but RoamRight gave me the peace of mind to enjoy my adventure!

It's easy to compare policy levels and easy to contact customer service. I had to change dates as I didn't realize the cruise line would book us on a red-eye, necessitating adding an extra day. All went well.

Luckily we didn't need to file a claim, but the peace of mind was worth it.
