Many Arch RoamRight customers highlight the provider’s quick claims process and compassionate customer service representatives. However, some travelers report that updates on their claim status are rare, and gathering the needed documents for claims can be challenging.
I have had RoamRight insurance for several previous trips. Your company has offered excellent coverage for several of my vacations and your personnel have consistently provided excellent service. For these reasons, RoamRight is my first company to look at when selecting a travel insurance policy.
When I was n the middle of purchasing my insurance, my computer malfunctioned and I was nit able to complete the transaction, after many attempts, I called your company's and asked for assistance. The person answered the phone was very patient and very knowledgeable. She walked me through the steps and explained the differences about each policy. She assisted me to purchase the most appropriate coverage for me needs in a timely fashion. I was very impressed with your company's assistance.
My flight was grounded at an unscheduled airport for over the length of time necessary to file a claim. However, we do not have receipts because we were instructed not to leave the airport because doing so would put our lives at risk as we were in cartel country. This was not disclosed in the original policy I purchased as I would not have purchased it.
Do not ever buy insurance from this company.
Thank you for the review. When a flight is delayed or redirected, travel insurance is designed to cover the unexpected expenses incurred during that time. So while you did not leave the airport for safety concerns, any meals that were eaten or personal care products that you purchased in the airport may be covered. If you have expenses for those, we encourage you to submit a claim, even if you didn't necessarily keep the receipts to document it.

Just faxed my claim form to Roam Right. I will let you know the outcome shortly.
I have had very little interaction to date - I sent off my claim today, so I will let you know how that goes.
I was informed by the agent on how to best purchase the coverage I needed and not to over insure. I had to submit a claim prior to departure due to an accident. I sent in the letters from my doctors and the claim was processed and paid within 10 days. My travel partner was also insured and did not go on the trip since she did not want to go with a different room mate. Her claim was also handled in a timely manner.
We had travel insurance with roam right purchased through square mouth just in case we needed it. Fortunately everything went smoothly and we never had to use the insurance. I'm unable to comment about the experience in the event we hs needed it.
My wife and I actually developed such bad colds on our trip that we contemplated going home early. Fortunately we soldiered through and wound up having a great time, even hampered by illness as we were. I think that had I needed to call RoamRight, I would have been treated well and would have gotten the help I needed.
This was a great insurance policy! I had an issue with my bags not arriving at my final destination and they handled it. I was relieved to get reimbursed for the things I otherwise would not have bought.
I never went on my trip. Did wish the customer service person had been a bit friendlier and warmer. I was feeling as if he thought I was wasting his time when I called to ask questions about the cancelled trip in terms of my insurance, and wished he had said just a simple, sorry you had to cancel. I had to cancel the trip because of my significant other's illness. Not being married, there was no coverage, and I hadn't bought my policy in time for cancel for any reason. Perhaps emphasizing somewhere the importance of timely purchase would be good.
