I had already begun my trip, being away from home already, when i realized I needed to purchase insurance. RoamRight walked me through the steps necessary to purchase the insurance I I qualified for. This was done very late at night. The assistant was very understanding and knowledgeable.
I would definitely use them again and I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

I filed a claim and never received a resolution . Not even an acknowledgement of the claim.

Our overall experience is yet to be determined. We needed to cancel our trip due to a medical emergency with our daughter. Filing a claim has been fairly straightforward. We received an e-mail shortly after filing with our adjuster's name and contact information. Hopefully it is in the final stages of review.

Good policy, only the airline cancelled a flight on me. The insurance did not cover this saying only cancellations due to a strike are covered. The airline did eventually compensate, though it seemed like it might not happen at times. I would hope to be covered for something like that if the airline fell through.

I looked on line for the company that would give me the benefits I needed for the least amount of money. I have used other companies. The questions I had were well and courteously answered, which made me confident in my choice.

Very expensive

I've had no problems so far :-). I only gave 4 stars 'cause it's my first experience with travel insurance, so I have no other point of reference

Easy to purchase online and receive the policy certificates electronically.
Very reasonable rates are another reason we went with this insurance

Customer service representatives were easy to contact, friendly, patient and knowledgable. I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable additional coverage is to purchase and at the extensive choices available to consider. My representative guided me through the menu of options in quick fashion allowing me to make an informed choice with minimal delay. Highly recommended.
