Made reservations for ourselves, kids, and grandkids in Dec of 2014. I had a heart attack in Feb requiring stents, more stents in March, heart problems in April and May. Doctor said no flying or traveling. The whole family cancelled. I cancelled the flights and filed a claim two days before we were scheduled to leave. Waiting for response.

It was an incredible relief knowing we would be covered. My husband became ill right before we left and it helped us knowing we would be covered...the agents were so friendly and empathetic.
Because I suffered a stroke in March we were unable to make the trip, and in need of a refund on our air reservation money. It was a little challenging as I had originally made all the contacts but was unable to follow through because of my medical condition. As a result my travel companion had to deal with the insurance, and she was met with professionalism and we received our refund in a timely fashion. I'd certainly recommend Roam Right to other travelers.
I have just filed my claim with roamright, and I will know more as to how they handle my claim in the next few days. I will update you later.
We thought we were going to be kept from boarding as the country we were flying to had new requirements. When we called Roam Right they were very courteous although they could not help us.
