Unless one files a claim one cant really decide whether the carrier is good or not.

Roam Right handled our claim in an timely manner and with no issues. We would purchase from them again and recommend them to others.

We had peace of mind knowing we had insurance protection if needed while on a three week trip to England. Fortunately we had no problems while there.

Had to change dates. Had no problems.

The website was hard to navigate through and I couldn't find the right insurance for me without asking someone. SO I had to talk to customer service which were helpful. The internet connection was a bit shaky so instead of the chat box closed instead of paused so in the midst of my conversation it shut off and I had to start a new with a new person and re-stating the whole conversation and what type of insurance I was looking for. Then when I manged to buy the insurance a default message appeared on the screen saying that the insurance was bought but not yet processed due to an error. Then I waited and waited to see if the charge would show up on my CC account but it didn't so then I had to send a message to customer service rep explaining what happened but only got an automated reply back saying that someone would be with me shorty. Got a message the next day and thankfully it was then fixed and I ended up getting the insurance. It was a bit stressful though. Wish that it was a much easier and smoother transaction.

Due to an unforeseen medical situation, I was forced to cancel a rafting trip that I had planned for my family of three. To file my claim, I simply provided documentation about the trip expenses and my medical issues. RoamRight sent a check about a month or so later. No problems!

I was pleased with extent of coverage and the competitive premium. My inquiries were answered clearly and in a timely manner.

It was great policy for the money. I never expected to make a claim.

To be honest - until my claim has been filed and approved, I cannot really comment on how Roamright are. I will say that I pulled a muscle in my neck and called the 24 hour service and although helpful and friendly, the 2 agents I spoke to were not that knowledgeable. I was told to file if I went to a doctor/acupuncturist/physical massage therapist and it may get approved - I was looking for a more definitive answer
