Due to an unforeseen medical situation, I was forced to cancel a rafting trip that I had planned for my family of three. To file my claim, I simply provided documentation about the trip expenses and my medical issues. RoamRight sent a check about a month or so later. No problems!

To be honest - until my claim has been filed and approved, I cannot really comment on how Roamright are. I will say that I pulled a muscle in my neck and called the 24 hour service and although helpful and friendly, the 2 agents I spoke to were not that knowledgeable. I was told to file if I went to a doctor/acupuncturist/physical massage therapist and it may get approved - I was looking for a more definitive answer
Once information reached the right address it was fine,but inially the package was returned as wrongly addressed. When I phoned the number to check they told me the address on the forms hadn't been changed yet!
I will pay the annual trip insurance again. I am 100% satiafied with the quick response to my claim and the communications I received as the process progressed.

I had no problems in dealing with Squaremouth at all. And so far in the claim end of it, all seems to be going well. I am just waiting for a check covering the unexpected delay in travel.
When my luggage was delayed, Roamright customer service took the time to get the information so that they could act on my behalf in tracking the luggage - leaving me time to enjoy my vacation. They kept me informed of the progress- much more so than the airline. When I submitted my claim, it was handle with the same efficiency. I was informed on the status and payment was delivered in a very timely matter. I would not hesitate to use their products again on future travel.
I purchased RoamRight travel insurance for my granddaughter and myself for a trip to London and Paris.
My mother died while we were finishing up the London part of the trip. We had to fly home from London, rather than Paris, and we were unable to use our Paris hotel, Eurostar tickets, tickets for Versailles or our return air ticket. I filed a claim upon returning and it was handled promptly and efficiently. I was VERY satisfied with the company. I will buy travel insurance from RoamRight for future trips and would highly recommend it to my friends.
i have not heard back from my claim yet. it's been a couple of weeks. frustrated.
