No response after I filed claim until I inquired about it. Company required documents which I was not aware such as that I gave cancel notice to airline. Airline ticket was non refundable so I thought no need to cancel because there was no refund due to me. Companies need to make it PLAIN in big letters that it is required to show proof of cancellation.
I changed my departure date slightly, the agent who did the update was efficient and knowledgeable.
As always, I am happy with the insurance and very happy I didn't need to use it .

BAD EXPERIENCE! When my personal belongings were stolen (wallet, credit cards, cash, keys, driver's license), i phoned Seven Corners immediately. They responded that it should be no problem filing a claim and getting those things covered (approximately $200 usd). I had to go to the police station, file a case there, had them mail me the case copy then file the claim all of which took 1 month time. They said it would take a month to process the claim.
A month goes by. I contacted them again and asked when I'd receive my refund. Then they said NO REFUND CASE DENIED. I found this deceitful that they were friendly but dishonest while I made sure to contact my insurance company immediately after the incident. They made me wait, fill out unnecessary paperwork, waste my time and did absolutely nothing. DO NOT GIVE SEVEN CORNERS YOUR BUSINESS. THEY ARE THIEVES! They said cash, credit cards and personal documents are not included in the personal loss coverage. That's what thieves STEAL!
I called two days prior to my trip and was told I could cancel my policy as I no longer needed it. I was told I needed to send confirmation via e mail and my money would be refunded. I did so, however I received notification later that it wasn't cancelled, even though I followed the instructions I was given. I think this is very unfair. I am quite sure if I sent in a claim at this time, you would determine that the policy had indeed been cancelled and you would refuse payment.
They provided excellent information on rules regarding cancellation and guided me through the policy so I knew what I needed to take with me on the trip.
Our initial flight was canceled due to hurricane Dorian. You told us that the carrier had 48 hours to get us on another flight. This would have put our entire vacation in jeopardy. We had to book another flight on our own. Luckily the airline refunded our fare. The fact that our flight was canceled should have been enough and we will not use insurance that has a 48 hour clause anymore. Seems dumb.
Everything went fine. Fortunately We did not have to file a claim, therefore I cannot comment on that issue.
