I don’t like how we paid for a policy where we should have gotten 100% refund for our cruise but we only got 75%. All because I am pregnant. It doesn’t make sense. Next time I’ll use the carnival insurance. And it took forever to actually get it all took care of.
I contacted Seven Corners after making my final trip payment to up my coverage. The agent was very helpful and took care of the change in a matter of minutes. The new price was exactly what I expected it to be and I received the new coverage documents in less than a hour. Fortunately I didn't have to use the insurance. I have used Squaremouth to purchase trip insurance for many years and find the sight easy to use and make comparisons. Seven Corners provided the coverage that I felt we needed at the best rating and price.
The process buying was straightforward, especially being able to input filters to streamline the options available. Once I decided on a policy, confirmation and documentation was great. So overall the purchasing process was great ... unfortunately we had to file a claim, so will have to see how that goes.
It was reassuring to have insurance. We only purchased the required medical and evacuation experience required by our tour company rather than comprehensive trip cancellation insurance. If you generally have trips that proceed smoothly, that is the amount I would recommend. And we went on safari and trekking in Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda. Our travel company was highly recommended and professional so everything went off without a single hitch on their part. We had nothing happen that would have necessitated a claim (whew!).
went perfect. glad I didn't need to make a claim. All pre arrangements went exactly as planned. I would definitely use this company again
Purchasing was a very easy process and quite easy to understand.- we submitted a claim for a shipboard doctor visit and medication overseas. After we get the EOB from our insurance company, we will submit to 7 corners for anything not covered.
The agent I spoke to leftvme on hold for a very long time and seemed to have no understanding of what is in a policy.
Absolutely terrible insurance. Their customer service told me to purchase a last minute plane ticket when WoW airlines (an airline flying to iceland) collapsed which would be covered by Seven Corners. Later on, when I finally submitted my claim, it was denied. When contacted about this, they continued to give me the run-around and never put me in touch with anyone who could answer my questions about the denial of my claim.
representative was knowledgable and helpful. will definitely use again
It’s very easy to pick out a policy via Squaremouth. I love being able to put up possibilities and compare them across the board. And with all the different policies, I can pick one that fits my needs exactly. Have used before and will use again. Thanks.
