although there was confusion on the part of my doctor completing the supporting documentation - it was resolved and Seven Corners quickly completed my claim and i have received confirmation that my refund is in process.

Seven Corners eventually settled our claim for the exact $ amount we had already calculated was owed to us. However, their online filing needs a major overhaul as it simply doesn't work! You cannot successfully upload your supporting documents without getting an error message - we are not technology challenged in any way, the site simply doesn't work. Finally we just attached scans of everything to an email and sent it to them.
Communication is also in need of an overhaul. We received several totally contradictory emails which we followed up on with a phone call to their Customer Service. Young lady there was helpful and confirmed for us that they had indeed received our supporting documentation and would contact the claims adjusters and bring this to their attention. (!!!)
After messing about with this back and forth for a while, ultimately they emailed us that our claim had been settled for the exact amount we knew was owed to us. Payment via a check followed in about two weeks.
So, not completely dissatisfied with Seven Corners - they just need to improve their claim submission process and their commuication with clients. We likely would not purchase from them again.
Coverage was not what I expected. Injury and lack of mobility didn’t seem to matter to Seven Corners rep. I’ll shop for a different provider in the future.
I had a flawless experience with my claim. Everything was very straight-forward. My situation was slightly odd since it happened in far away East Timor (off the beaten path). Yet still, there were no problems with my claim.
I lost an expensive camera lens during the trip. I called from Ecuador and the agent told me it would be covered up to $1,500.00. I purchased a new lens and arranged to have it delivered to me. When I got home the claim was approved for only $300.00.
The company amended my policy and refunded me the difference when my travel dates changed. I had a great customer service experience! Highly recommend and will use again. Thanks
