I'm still in the process of making the claim. They have paid on some parts and we are waiting on other issues that are not resolved. Some of this is due to my status.
They have paid on parts of the claim already, which I am thankful. It seems they have their way of doing things and the process has been slow. I cannot talk to the claims adjuster when I called about questions. I have exchanges multiple emails.The adjuster can take a couple of weeks to get back to me. If I call, the person who answers the call, gives me helpful information as to my status, but evidently claims adjusters do not take phone calls, so its been frustrating. Currently they have paid on two parts, and two are still unresolved.
So overall, I appreciate that they've paid and the phone people do give me their best answers and are very attentive, however, I am unable to talk directly to the person to try to resolve issues. I can only send them emails, and then there is a wait sometime until I hear from them.

It was difficult to talk to the correct person who was handling my claim. I would call and get a person who was very nice, but would only tell me current status, but could not talk with the adjuster directly. I found that frustrating. In all fairness, they would return emails, but sometimes it would take a while until they responded. It was not a fast easy procedure, but in the end, I did get most of the claim, so really can't complain that much. Only to the degree it took a longer time than I expected, and I had to spend many hours providing just the right information in just the right way. Perhaps if someone took the time to explain to me in person what I need to provide, I could have saved some time.

I am still awaiting a decision on our claim. We never got to go on the trip because of my wife's accident. We filed a claim under trip cancellation.
this insurance was useless when trying to cancel my trip to the Bahamas due to hurricane Dorian. They stated that since the airline had not canceled our flights I could not file a claim (even though Delta had listed Nassau airport in their bulletin) Also, do not bother with the cancel for any reason "benefit" if you don't cancel the trip 48 hours prior to your schedule departure, it no longer applies. I was better off calling the airline and the hotel directly to get refunds and rescheduling fees saved. Complete waste of money
Clean and professional. got initial insurance when i booked by trip with a deposit and then increased coverage when i made my final payment. Easy and fast
I don’t like how we paid for a policy where we should have gotten 100% refund for our cruise but we only got 75%. All because I am pregnant. It doesn’t make sense. Next time I’ll use the carnival insurance. And it took forever to actually get it all took care of.
I contacted Seven Corners after making my final trip payment to up my coverage. The agent was very helpful and took care of the change in a matter of minutes. The new price was exactly what I expected it to be and I received the new coverage documents in less than a hour. Fortunately I didn't have to use the insurance. I have used Squaremouth to purchase trip insurance for many years and find the sight easy to use and make comparisons. Seven Corners provided the coverage that I felt we needed at the best rating and price.
