Squaremouth is great site for comparing and obtaining travel insurance.I recommend it to several friends. I have used this service at least 4 times. This is my first experience as having filed any sort of claim with a chosen carrier. I filed 28 days ago and have yet to hear about any progress on claim. At this point it is not a problem but would be good to know the claim is being processed in and have some idea of normal processing period.

Claim paid in full after 2 months. The only recommendation would be to have been better informed of the process in terms of expectations of time line.It was not until claim paid that I was aware of an on-line resource to check progress.
When our connecting flight was cancelled, the reps I spoke to were unhelpful and just referred me to the next rep to give me false hope. Corrections to the trip dates weren't allowed, even with verification of purchase dates. Apparently not all of their reps know this since one referred me to the next level rep to make trip corrections. After I waited on hold the next level rep said no corrections can be made.
I did not file a claim, so I don't feel qualify to really rate the service
