The EOB listed the paid claims individually (which is better than some other insurers) but without any descriptions. The amounts were all slightly off, so not sure about why that was since I made claims based upon how much I was charged by my credit card companies in dollars, not original foreign currency amounts paid, so there shouldnt be any foreign exchange rate considerations.
I gave you 3 stars only because you insist on a rating but I can't give you a real one yet ... my claim is still in limbo. Right now I'm a bit disappointed at the very slow response to my claim and the lack of contact with your office. Once all this is settled I'll be happy to rate the service.

I'm very happy - my claim was settled reasonably promptly and with a minimum of fuss. I got a bit frustrated in the beginning with several auto-responses and no messages from real people, but when I voiced my concerns I heard back from the company immediately. I would certainly use them again.

It would have saved some time and emails if the person initially contacted at Squaremouth had informed me of all of the documentation needed to file the claim. Once I had submitted all of the documentation required, my claim was processed quickly and efficiently.

When I inquired about the plan I was excited. I paid extra for coverage for pre-existing conditions and the medical coverage. I paid additional to 2 additional people on the coverage that I was traveling with and was under the impression that those people were covered under the policy. I was under the impression that if there was a trip interruption due to one of the reasons listed, then I would be able to file a claim to be reimbursed for the remaining portion of the trip that was pre-paid. We followed all of the requests to see a physician due to the illness - even sat in the hot waiting room for over 2 hours to be seen. I opted to do the chat feature with the representative. The representative from Seven Corners had no suggestions as to which physician we could or should see. We were told we can see anyone. We asked locals who would be a good physician to see. I was told that the only things that would be reimbursed would be the new plane ride home and the physician's visit costs.
I have learned that after you buy the policy is when you are given plain English (laymens terms) that the policy only really covers the person buying the policy, the amount per person paid for the trip should just be the total amount of the trip for all persons, paying extra for the pre-existing conditions should only be purchased if you are deathly ill because it doesn't mean anything when once you go on your trip, and the insurance does not reimburse you for the hotel expenses, unsused portion of your flight if there is a medical illness that requires you to return to your departure city (home). I feel as though I lost more money by getting the false sense of security by buying this policy that if I would not have bought the policy. This insurance does not cover all that it tries to say it does. The customer service was not much help. I have submitted my claim for all that I feel I should be reimbursed but have yet to receive a reply that they received my claim which I submitted last week. A great customer service oriented business would have at least sent notification that the claim was received and being processed (not just an automated email stating the images of receipts have been uploaded). I would recommend using laymens terms that are accurate such as once you leave your originating destination nothing will be reimbursed except the medical bills, return flight to your origin, and if required you or your travel companions hotel stay while under medical care at your vacation location.
