Seven Corners Travel Insurance Reviews

Our trip with Queenslander Tours for Germany on July 10 did not get enough people (only 2) to be a go.
Switched to a May 24 tour with Queenslander to France. Seven Corners was able to handle the change and issue the revised policy. Initial customer service contact said need to file claim which was not true since no many loss was involved. This is why initially there was a claim.

I would highly recommend this policy. Customer service rep was friendly & made the claim process easy. Responses were prompt and payment was fast.

We always buy coverage and the coverage available form the vacation location did not meet our needs.

The day before our planned trip, our son in- law's father died
unexpectedly and we needed to abruptly cancel our trip
as we had to care for our daughter's three small children ( 5 yr. old twins and a 15 month old) so their mom and dad could focus on quickly planning a funeral on very short notice.
We bought the top of the line" cancel for any reason" policy expressly for such situations.
When I called the insurer, I was told because essentially, I cancelled the day before departure and also that the deceased was not considered "immediate" family, I would receive no consideration or reimbursement whatsoever.
Be weary of the more expensive "cancel for any reason"
policies with a 48 hr. notice clause as there are a number of exceptions/exclusions that may impede your ability to have a reimbursable claim as was the case in this situation.

We deal with SquareMouth every time we travel and find their service terrific. We would not choose this insurer again. When it looked like our flights would be delayed or cancelled and we would not be able to reach our final destination, the service people were not very helpful at all. Hopefully we will have a better experience in obtaining the expenses filed in our claim. To be determined...

Buying the first portion of insurance was fairly straightforward, and then adding to it (for the second trip payment) was easy through SquareMouth's customer service.

Unfortunately, we couldn't go on our trip due to medical emergency and were pleasantly surprised at how hassle free the process was! Do your homework to find the policy that's right for you but would definitely recommend.

Worst experience ever. Terrible customer service. No one knew what the other was doing. Your departments clearly don't communicate with one another. Never again will I do business with this company.
