Customers appreciate Seven Corners’ responsive customer service, especially when helping them select the right policy for their trip. Many travelers highlight the helpfulness and availability of the support team. However, some mention frustrations with the time-consuming paperwork and long wait times for reimbursement during the claims process.
We did receive a $100 check from Seven Corners. I understand they said it was delayed luggage but it finally arrived at our home 5 weeks later. What was upsetting was the fact we were in Rome embarking on a 17 day Trans Atlantic cruise (Rome to Ft. Lauderdale). and my husband had no clothes. On days when we were on shore we spent time looking for things for him to wear which was not that easy because of the European cuts. When we finally reached the Canary Islands we knew that would be the last chance for luggage because we had 8 days at sea for the crossing. We did send Seven Seas receipts for $ 400 + for but being delayed they stuck to the policy. I understand $100 was all they HAD to pay, but under the circumstances I thought they might pay for some of the clothing.
4 Weeks after filing claim we had not received any information, claim number or feedback. We made a follow up call to learn if the claim was being processed and were told additional information was needed. A second call on our part to see if requested additional forms had been received. Forms had not been processed and we asked if there was a case number we could use for correspondence and this was the first we were told what our claim number was. All information that we received has been a result of us calling.
After American Express travel insurance service closed operation, I started using SquareMoth a few years ago for not only competitive price and selection but after purchase experience. This is my second claim with Seven Corners insurance yet they handled my claim so fast and very professionally. This time SquareMouth representative also followed up my claim which was added assurance. After all, bad thing happen during trip and having reliable and honest insurance company on my back is a great feeling and for my family.
Selecting the insurance policy was easy. I needed some help with the computer form, which was provided on the phone. Very pleased with the experience.
Customer service was very helpful. I explained my situation and was guided as to the option best for me.
My flight was delayed 8 hours, landing me in Nicaragua late at night rather than early afternoon. This meant that I missed my reserved shuttle upon arrival, which does not operate in the evening. I had to find accommodations alone and rebook another shuttle the following day, all of which was very expensive and scary. I called SquareMouth but was informed that there was nothing to be done, as their policy dictates that a flight must be 12 hours delayed to qualify for any assistance. I asked about how the 8 hour delay meant that I missed my ground transfer, putting me 24 hours behind schedule, and was again dismissed. This travel insurance was a complete waste of money.
Customer service was very helpful in telling me exactly what plan I needed for my trip. The chat option was perfect since I got an immediate answer.
The website is easy to navigate and to compare many different policies at one time. The companies are all highly rated and include many excellent benefits. I always recommend Squaremoyth to others traveling.
My daughter recommended Square Mouth after she had a policy for a cruise she her family took. She had a claim and it was paid quickly.
The cost was lower than our travel agent recommended.
I will use them again for our cruises.
When I filed my claim their first response to me was that I was not insured for the lost I incurred. They said I was not covered by the policy I purchased for a missed connection and they denied my claim.
I had to argue the issue of policy coverage and the language of the contract and then appeal their denial.
After several months of back and forth Emails and returning form after form to proving my case ,Seven Corners finally paid my claim.
