  • Seven Corners policy: RoundTrip

The underwriting criteria for the policy I wanted was not consistent with the criteria for other policies. I called & asked about it. The phone rep, of course, said the criteria was what it was. However, it was changed for the particular policy in a couple of days. So the info apparently got to the right people.

When I called Square Mouth about our car being broken into while in France, I was impressed with the lady to whom I spoke on your collect number. I hope to get this claim done quickly, as I do want closure.

Seven corners has not been helpful at all. They have asked for documentation for things that they know good and well I can't provide. They have no online submission of claims or by telephone. I literally had to snail mail in my claim.

Seven Corners policy: Trip Protection Economy

I had to request a copy of my credit card statement to show that I paid the bill. My purchase was made in November 2013. American Express only provide six months of bill review online. Therefore I am waiting to get the paper statement showing proof of the purchase. Please note, I provided the letter of cancelation notice and it showed that I paid the deposit.

I will never purchase a policy from your company.

I would not recommend your company.

Seven Corners policy: Trip Protection Economy

Great communication when we were deciding which company to use. Very thorough with their information of what to purchase and the cost. Unfortunately, wife had serious health issues and we had to cancel. After our sending documentation from all necessary, the claim was paid in a very short period of time. Very satisfied.

Seven Corners policy: Trip Protection Choice

So far the experience has been mediocre at best. After years of purchasing trip insurance and thankfully not having to use it, I had to cancel the trip due to family emergency. It's been an arduous process to submit my claim, involving 42 pages of documentation and several back and forths after that. Even as of now, you have asked me for documentation from the airline that my first contact at the airline says they cannot provide, without which you will apparently not reimburse the flight cost, being about half of total non reimbursable trip cost. Yet I paid for full trip reimbursement, a hefty premium of about $150. I still don't know if I'll get anything. The experience thus far has soured me on Seven Corners and travel insurance in general, and really makes me wonder if I should ever purchase travel insurance again, or just make so with what my credit cars automatically provide for free

the service was rather slow when I asked too many questions by email. Also, the premiums were rather too high.

I filed a claim on August 4, 2014. They requested additional information which I sent on August 28, 2014. They sent me a receipt of the information the same day. That is over 4 weeks ago and I have heard nothing further from them in regard to my claim. Disappointing!!!

Seven Corners policy: Trip Protection Choice

The office seemed very disorganized. My friend and I both bought the insurance. We filed our claims for a missed hotel night due to a cancelled flight together. We sent in every paper asked for and weeks would pass before we were asked for something else. Some of the paperwork asked for, like proof that we actually went on a subsequent flight to Venice seemed unnecessary (what difference should that make) but we provided it. Finally I received my check but my friend who had exactly the same claim and who filed all paperwork with me, did not receive hers. When she called to complain, she was told it would take weeks to authorize it. Fortunately it did not after she angrily told her story.
Some of the letters received from the office had a faded streak down the middle. It was poor print quality and looked unprofessional. When I tried ,after we were paid ,to file this complaint online, it would not send. I would not use this company again.
